The Historical Apex Depot Garden Project
![]()
In August and September of 2007, the Apex Garden Club decided
it would like to help out the town of Apex in leading a beautification project
on the side of the Apex historical depot. Since then, the club has gotten various
members of the business community to donate their time and materials to this
community garden project. The caboose has even been repainted thanks to the
Historical Society! We appreciate everyone who is helping to make this project
a success! Below are some pictures and descriptions of the project and its phases
from its very beginning to now!

The club had a work day one grey Saturday morning. We had great turnout from the members and got lots of work done in a short period of time. Most of the plants were donated from members' gardens. See the photos below!
