In March, some of the members of the garden club visited Plant Delights Nursery for their annual Winter open house. We had a great time, and picked up some plants on the way! We even got a chance to talk to Tony Avent, and we viewed the petrified wood that was found on his property recently. If you ever get a chance to go to one of their open houses, do it! This is a great learning experience, as well as a feast for the eyes. Their plants are considered a perennial investment and a collector's dream. Tony is happy to answer just about any question you can throw at him, and he is very down-to-earth. Click below to see a "Brazen Hussy" as well as some creative yard art, and, of course, some of the other cool plants in the garden.
